संताल आदिवासियों के बीच जनसभा
झाड़खण्ड जंगल बचाओ आंदोलन की ओर से गिरिडीह जिला के देउरी प्रखण्ड के फुटका गाँव में संताल आदिवासियों के बीच एक जनसभा हुई। इस दौरान जेजेबीए के प्रभारियों ने वनाधिकार कानून 2006 और उसे लागू करने की प्रक्रिया के बार विस्तारपूर्वक जानकारी दी। ग्रामीणों को ग्रामसभा और वनााधिकार समिति गठन कर वनभूमि के दावेदारों को अपना दावापत्र वनााधिकार समिति के पास जमा करने का सुझााव दिया गया। सभा में 10 गाँव के करीब 500 लोग उपस्थित थे जिसमें महिलाओं की संख्या ज्यादा थी। सभा में सावन हंसदा, शैली मुर्मू, सुमित्रा मुर्मू, संतोष बास्के, राधाकृष्ण, राजेश, पौलुस, पुष्पा और जेवियर ने अपने विचार रखे।
